Medical Office Administration/3: Insurance and Billing

This competency-based course is the third in a sequence of five designed for health information technology. Emphasis is placed on the policies and procedures used to complete Workers’ Compensation, State Disability Insurance (SDI), group and private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid (Medi-Cal), Medi/Medi Crossover, managed care, TRICARE, and CHAMPVA forms, claims, and contracts. Advanced training in the use of healthcare software is also covered. $100 / 90 hrs
