Medical Office Administration/5: Ambulatory Coding System

This competency-based course is the fifth in a sequence of five designed for health information technology. Emphasis is placed on the official coding guidelines of the latest editions of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Manual and the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) levels I and II code books. The coding applications of the Evaluation and Management (E&M), Anesthesia, Surgery, Radiology, Pathology and Laboratory, and Medicine Sections and subsections of the said code books are covered extensively. 90 hrs
