The Individualized Instruction Lab (II Lab)

The II Lab is designed for students to take academic courses that are required for the high school diploma in a classroom setting. Students work independently in class with the guidance of a teacher. Students are required to attend class daily for 10 hours a week at the time specified on the schedule. Students who complete a class will earn 5 credits.

Prerequisite: TABE Reading Assessment score of 9.1 or higher prior to registration.

Courses available: English 1, English 2, English 3, English 4, American Literature, Contemporary Composition, Expository Composition, Modern Literature, Health, General Science/Integrated 1, General Science/Integrated 2, General Science/Integrated 3, General Science 4, Economics, Life Skills, Parent Education, Psychology, US Government, US History 1,US History 2, World History 1, World History 2, Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, HiSET Preparation (this is a non-credit class).

Math Prerequisite: Students needing the following math courses must take the TABE Math Assessment to check for math skill level. Students will be placed in a math class appropriate for their math skill level prior to registration in one of the following courses: Algebra 1A, Algebra 1B, Geometry A and Geometry B.
